Terms of sale

Last updated: [date]

These terms cover buying and using The 42-Day Digital Product Challenge and the community membership. By buying, you agree to them. We've kept them in plain language. If anything's unclear, email support@kait-mosca.com.

The short version:

  • It's a six-week program to make and launch your own digital product.
  • It's education, not a promise of income.
  • Lifetime access to the lessons and your dashboard, for as long as the program runs. Making new AI drafts is included for 12 months.
  • Your work is yours; our lessons are ours, so please don't share them.
  • Because it's a digital product, you can get a full refund within 48 hours of buying.
  • The community is $37 a month, and you can cancel any time.
  • Be kind, and keep what's shared in the community inside it.

1. Who we are

The challenge is run by 17188285 Canada Inc. ("we", "us"), Kait Mosca's company, based in Ontario, Canada. Contact: support@kait-mosca.com · 1112-2482 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario M4P 2H5.

2. What you're buying

The 42-Day Digital Product Challenge is a six-week online program where you make a digital product (a PDF guide, workbook or similar) and get it ready to launch. It includes:

  • A short video lesson every day for 42 days, with a checklist for each day.
  • A private dashboard that turns your answers into drafts you edit and make your own: product ideas and a research plan (or a Product Check-up if you already have a product), a product outline, brand direction, your sales page copy, a freebie, emails and launch posts.
  • Your cohort's schedule. Your cohort's start date is shown on the sales page and at checkout. Each day's lesson opens on its date, and you can always go back to earlier days.

The community is separate. It's an optional membership with its own price (section 10).

3. What it isn't

It isn't an income promise. This is an educational program. We don't promise that you'll make any particular amount of money, or any money, or reach any particular result. What you get out of it depends on things like your effort, your skills, the time you put in, your topic, your audience and the market, and many of those are outside our control.

When we share results (ours or students'), they're real. They show what happened for that person, not what will happen for you.

It isn't professional advice. The lessons, drafts and calls are general education. They aren't legal, financial, tax, business, medical or nutrition advice for your situation. Decisions you make based on them are yours.

4. Price, taxes and payment

  • Price: the price shown at checkout, in US dollars (USD). It includes any sales tax that applies.
  • Payment is handled by our checkout provider ([SamCart or Stan Store]). We never see or store your card number. By buying, you authorize it to charge your payment method for the option you chose.
  • Payment plans: if you choose one, you're agreeing to every payment in the plan, even if you stop using the program, except as our refund policy allows. Keep your payment details up to date.
  • If a payment fails, your access (lessons, dashboard, community, bonuses) is paused until it goes through. A pause doesn't extend your access period. If it isn't sorted within [14] days, we may end your access. Having trouble? Email us. We'd rather help you sort it out.

5. How long you have access

Lifetime access, for the life of the program. You keep the lessons, the call replays and your dashboard (including everything you've made in it) for as long as we run The 42-Day Digital Product Challenge. If we update or add lessons, you get them at no extra cost.

  • Making new drafts in the dashboard (the AI-written drafts) is included for 12 months from your cohort's Day 1, or for as long as you're a community member. After that, everything you've already made stays in your dashboard to read, copy and download.
  • Fair use: each step includes up to 3 fresh sets of drafts. Need another? Just ask.
  • If we ever close the program, we'll email you at least [90] days before, so you have time to download your drafts and anything else you want to keep. Your drafts are yours (section 8).

Not using the program doesn't change these terms or entitle you to a refund outside our refund policy.

6. Your account

  • Give us accurate information, and keep your email address current.
  • One person per account. Your access is personal. Don't share your login, your access code, live-call links or replays with anyone.
  • Sharing access is a serious breach. If it happens, we may end your access without a refund.

7. Tools you'll use, and what they cost

The challenge teaches you to use tools run by other companies. You sign up for them yourself, under their own terms:

  • Claude (by Anthropic), free or paid. A paid plan is optional, and the dashboard drafts don't need a Claude account.
  • Canva: the free plan works.
  • Stan Store, for your shop. It has a free trial, then $29–$99 a month depending on the plan you choose, paid to Stan.
  • [Optional, after Day 42: Systeme.io, for automated emails.]

We tell you what's needed before you buy. Their prices, features and availability are up to them, not us. If a tool changes, we'll adapt the lessons as best we can.

Affiliate links. Some links to these tools are affiliate links. If you sign up through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. You never have to use them.

8. Your work and our materials

  • What's yours: your answers, the files you upload, your edited drafts, and the product you make. You can sell or share your product however you like. You give us permission to store and process your work only to run the challenge for you (see our privacy policy).
  • What's ours: the lessons, videos, recordings, templates, prompts, the method, the dashboard, and our name and logos. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them while you have access, to make and launch your own products.
  • You may not copy, share, resell, republish or teach our materials as your own, or use them to build a competing program, without our written permission.
  • Want to use our templates or prompts with your own clients or audience? Ask us first. We're often happy to say yes.
  • We never share your work or results publicly (testimonials, screenshots or wins) without your written permission.

9. Drafts made with AI

Your dashboard drafts are written with AI (Claude, by Anthropic) from your answers. They're starting points, not finished work:

  • Read and edit everything before you use it. Drafts can contain mistakes.
  • You're responsible for what you publish and sell, including making sure it's accurate and doesn't copy anyone else's work.
  • If your topic touches health, money, law or nutrition, check it with a qualified professional.

10. The community membership

  • Price and billing: $37 a month, billed automatically every month from the day you join, until you cancel.
  • What's included: the members' space in your dashboard, new dashboard drafts after your first 12 months (section 5), and two live calls a month with recordings: hot seat coaching and open Q&A. We may change call dates or the format, and we'll tell you ahead of time.
  • Cancel any time, through [your checkout provider's customer portal] or by emailing support@kait-mosca.com. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.

What you post

  • Your posts are visible to every community member, so don't share anything you want kept private.
  • You're responsible for what you post. Only share things you have the right to share. Nothing illegal, harmful, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy.
  • Share your wins, your products and your launches. That's what it's for. But don't pitch your services or coaching to other members, recruit them, or advertise.
  • Keep it in the room. Don't share other members' posts, products or call recordings outside the community.
  • Our part: you give us permission to host and show your posts to members as part of the community. Using any of it outside the community, for example in our marketing, needs your written permission first.
  • We may remove posts that break these rules, and remove members who repeatedly do.

11. Live calls and recordings

  • Live calls are recorded, and replays are shared with challenge students or community members, depending on the call.
  • By joining a call, you agree that what you share (your voice, video, name and chat) can be recorded and included in the replay for them.
  • Prefer to stay off camera? Keep your camera off, use the chat, or simply watch.
  • Hot seats: we'll confirm with you before your product is shown, and you can say no.
  • Recordings stay inside the program. We won't use you in recordings shown outside it without your written permission.

12. Refunds, disputes and ending access

  • Refunds: see our refund policy. Charges made by mistake (double charges, the wrong product, or a charge you didn't authorize) are always fixed.
  • Something wrong? Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. If a charge is disputed, we may pause your access while it's being resolved.
  • You can stop any time. Stop using the program whenever you like, or cancel the community from your account.
  • We can end access if you break these terms, for example by sharing your login or our materials. If that happens, there's no refund.

13. If things change

  • Small changes: we may update lessons, tools or dates to make the program better. If a change meaningfully reduces what you bought, tell us and we'll make it right.
  • Cancelled cohort: if we cancel your cohort before it starts, you get a full refund.
  • Things outside anyone's control: if something like a major outage, natural disaster or illness delays the program, we'll extend dates for as long as the delay lasts, and keep you posted.

14. Limits of our responsibility

We work hard to keep the challenge running smoothly, but it's provided as is. To the extent the law allows:

  • We can't promise the dashboard will always be available or error-free, or that every link will work. Tell us when something breaks and we'll fix it.
  • We're not responsible for losses that come from how you use the program, the drafts, or other companies' tools.
  • Our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us.
  • If something you post or publish infringes someone else's rights and they bring a claim against us, you're responsible for it.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.

15. Copyright complaints

If you believe something in the program or community infringes your copyright, email support@kait-mosca.com with:

  • your contact details
  • what the work is
  • where it appears
  • a statement that you own the rights or are authorized to act for the owner

16. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Your local consumer protection laws still apply.

17. Trademarks

Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. Canva, Stan Store, SamCart and Systeme.io are trademarks of their owners. This program is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

18. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and tell you about important changes. Changes don't affect anything you've already bought, unless the law requires it.

19. The rest of the fine print

  • These terms, our refund policy and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about the program.
  • If any part turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce something straight away, we haven't given up the right to.
  • You can't transfer your purchase to someone else without our written permission. We may transfer our rights if the business changes hands.
